Purpose of COS
WORSHIP
We were planned for God’s pleasure. We believe getting to know God through prayer and loving God is our No.1 purpose in life. We make God smile by loving Him supremely, trusting Him completely, and obeying Him wholeheartedly.
FELLOWSHIP
God formed us for His family. We believe loving relationships through prayer should permeate every aspect of church life, including the concepts of love driven ministry, team ministry, and relationship building.

DISCIPLESHIP
God created us to become like Christ. We believe that through prayer, the anointed teaching of God’s Word is the basic foundational truth needed for transformation into the image of Jesus Christ. We believe that life change happens best in small groups; this includes the concept of discipleship, vulnerability, and accountability.
MINISTRY
God shaped us to serve Him. We believe God gives every believer spiritual gifts to be used in ministry through prayer. We unwrap these special God empowered abilities for serving Him by understanding our SHAPE -Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, Experiences.
EVANGELISM
God made us for a mission of making more and better disciples through prayer. We believe that lost people matter to God and ought to matter to the Church. Our mission is a continuation of Jesus’ mission on earth. Matt. 28:19-20 “Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to do everything I have told you.” This includes the concept of relational evangelism and evangelism as a process, “Each One reach One To Teach One”
