We believe that men can, and should be a source of great support and encouragement to each other. Through this support and encouragement, we can more easily fulfill God’s desires for us to be the men, husbands, and fathers He wants us to be.

The church needs to send out a message loud and clear that men play a critical role in the life of the family. Men will have a powerful impact upon their families if they connect in three crucial areas:

1. with God
2. with his family
3. with his church
   The Men’s Ministry attempts to encourage these connections.

Of 72,000,000 children under 18 - 33% of them are in a home without a biological father.

40% of first marriages end in divorce and the number is much higher for Wayne County.

33% of all children are born out of wedlock.
